We are specialists in the supply of consumable products to the general sheet fed and web offset printers and the newspaper industry and also screen printers. We carry the largest range of products available from any supplier in New Zealand and have a wide and varied supply base.

Our company started trading in New Zealand in April 1973 by Rob Gibson under the name of Gibson’s Printer’s Supplies Limited. When Peter Meredith took over in 1996, the name was changed to Gibson Pacific Limited to more adequately reflect the fact that we service the Pacific Islands as well.

In October 2007 the Green Family purchased the company moving it to Penrose and changing the name to Gibson Pacific Printing Supplies Limited.

Our products are imported mainly from the United Kingdom, United States of America and Germany, although we also source from other countries including Spain, India and New Zealand. We trade throughout New Zealand and offer same day delivery in Auckland and overnight to the North Island, with a 2-3 day service to the South Island. For an extra charge we can also send goods overnight to all South Island destinations if required, excluding aerosols.

John Green

John Green has many years of experience as group chief engineer with Wilson & Horton. He was the project director responsible for installing the Goss HT70 press at the New Zealand Herald in Ellerslie, now known as APN Print Ellerslie, which went into production in 1995.

Justin Green

Justin Green joined Gibson’s in 2007. Like his father John, he has extensive experience as an engineer in the printing industry, working on Goss and Ferag printing presses in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Sue Green

Sue Green is the office manager, dealing with administration and accounting.
